Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both lawyers. After relocating to Oxfordshire at the age of five, she enrolled in the Dragon School. Emma's dream was to become an actor. When she was 6, she enrolled in the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch and took lessons in acting, singing as well as dancing.
