Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) won an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his debut full-length album. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. He worked alongside Noriel for Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He the following year released his sophomore album the chart-topping Dopamina. In 2021, he sang a duet. he sang a duet in 2021 alongside TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a renowned musician, born into a musical family. His parents and brothers were both musicians. In interviews he has described participating in music as compulsory. As a child, he studied the saxophone and guitar. The initial goal was to be a vet However, his brother Julian convinced him to study how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he found his ability to sing and also transformed his career path.
