Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. His career began with roles in television series, including Opposite Sex, which aired in 2000. Evans became famous as the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in films that are based off comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). The film gained him more recognition due to his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The Marvel films have made him one of the most highly paid Hollywood actors.
